Ever wondered if your Luxembourg ancestors were in the military – or in prison? The Luxembourg census may be able to help!

It’s a little known part of the enumerator’s instructions. The census enumerator was required to share the whereabouts of everyone in the household, even if they weren’t living there. This can be a helpful way to determine where your ancestor was and what your ancestor was doing – and point you towards new sources to illustrate their history.
