Mappy Monday: Historic Maps of Luxembourg

The document referred to Strassen, Luxembourg. While I recognized the name,  I wanted to figure out where it stood compared to the town I was researching… and stumbled across a great historic map site. LuxCentral offers historic maps of Luxembourg dating from the 16th through the 18th century, as well as maps of Luxembourg City going into the 19th century. It’s a bit structurally dated – it hasn’t been updated since 2006- but it offers a fantastic starting point for research.
